Interventional Radiology Technologist

Overview

Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary expertise and qualifications to perform advanced imaging techniques and support interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Siemens imaging equipment to conduct interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Assist physicians during imaging procedures by providing necessary support and ensuring patient safety.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Foster a welcoming and caring environment for patients, ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure.

Schedule

The position allows for rotation between 4×10 hour shifts or 5×8 hour shifts, primarily for day operations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology is required.
• Must be comfortable with Siemens imaging equipment.
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross is required at the time of application.
