CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing computed tomography procedures and ensuring high-quality images while adhering to established protocols and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in CT imaging technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations independently and efficiently.
• Administer IV contrast as needed, ensuring patient safety and compliance with IV competency standards.
• Utilize Altera EMR and McKesson/Change PACS systems effectively.
• Conduct X-ray procedures based on established protocols.
• Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT CT/ARRT R certification and BLS certification are required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging is required.
• Proficiency in IV competency, CTA work, and X-ray portable procedures.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and cover CT and X-ray independently when staffing is limited.
• Preferred: 2+ years of CT experience.
• Flu exemptions are not accepted.

Shift Information

Shifts will be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The position may require coverage on holidays if they fall on a weekend.
