Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population, including special care populations such as cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health.

Shifts and Scheduling

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours (Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Occasional evening and overnight coverage may be required.
• End of week and holiday coverage as needed.
• No on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages in an emergency setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and data management.
• Participate in procedures and protocols related to STEMI and stroke care.
• Support patients through various medical emergencies and critical conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
• Experience in a STEMI and Stroke facility is necessary.
