Registered Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer

Job Description

The Registered Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer will provide noninvasive vascular and cardiac testing utilizing ultrasound skills and other noninvasive testing modalities. This role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality testing results. The testing will be performed on outpatients, inpatients, and patients in the emergency department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive vascular and cardiac testing using ultrasound techniques.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality care and accurate testing.
• Complete testing for various patient populations, including outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients.

Qualifications

• Must be registered in both vascular and echo modalities.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiac and vascular specialty.
• 1 year of travel experience is preferred.
• Certification requirements include one of the following:
  • RDCS and RVT – Registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • RCS and RVS – Registered through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• BLS/BCLS certification is required.

Work Schedule

This position is scheduled for day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM. No holiday or on-call coverage is required.
