CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and experience to provide excellent patient care and perform diagnostic imaging procedures effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-ray imaging according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.
• Utilize proficiency in IV competency and CTA work as needed.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT CT/ARRT R certification and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience, with preference for candidates having 2+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with IV competency, CTA work, Altera EMR, and McKesson/Change PACS required.
• Ability to operate portable X-ray equipment according to established protocols.
• Must be capable of working independently while covering CT and XR when staffing is limited.

Shift Requirements

This position requires availability for shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Holiday work may be necessary if a holiday falls on a weekend.
