Pediatric Float ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Float ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires the nurse to float to multiple locations within the region, providing care across various intensive care units, including PICU, NICU, TDICU, and CICU, as well as general care and specialty areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in intensive care settings.
• Float between different units and locations to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2-3:1.
• Utilize EPIC charting for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in weekend duty on assigned dates (Friday-Sunday).
• Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and regulations, including NICOTINE FREE facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in Pediatric ICU or Pediatric Cardiac ICU.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification are required.
• Active Georgia or compact nursing license.

Additional Information

The position may require making up any missed shifts and adhering to mandatory flu vaccination policies, with no exemptions permitted. A drug screen will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
