Ultrasonographer
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasonographer to join our Perinatal Diagnostic Program. This outpatient clinic specializes in high-risk and low-risk obstetric and gynecologic imaging. The ideal candidate will possess strong OB/GYN sonography experience and demonstrate comfort in a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment.
Work Schedule
- Shift: 8H Days
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Fridays 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Weekend Requirement: None
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Holiday Requirement: None
Patient Population
- Obstetrics (Low and High Risk)
- Gynecology
Requirements
- Minimum Clinical Experience: 2 Years
- Minimum Specialty Experience: 2 Years in OB/GYN Sonography
- Prior Travel Experience: Not Required
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
Certifications
- Required: RDMS Certification (OB/GYN)
- Preferred: Fetal Echo Certification (not required)
EMR System
Experience with EPIC (Radiant) is advantageous.
Unit Procedures and Equipment
The primary focus will be on Obstetric and Gynecologic Ultrasound Imaging. No specialized equipment requirements have been identified beyond standard sonography practice.
Unit Information
- Specialty: High-Risk Maternity Outpatient Clinic
- Exam Rooms/Suites: 6
- Patient Volume: 8 to 10 patients per sonographer daily
Orientation
Orientation will consist of 3 days of unit-specific training. Any requested time off should be disclosed during the application process, as approval after submission is not guaranteed.

Interview Process
A unit manager interview is required, along with an interview with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine provider.
