Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Long Term Care specialty. Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, you will provide treatment for patients through various therapeutic interventions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing exercise, massage, gait, and balance training to assist patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Recording patients’ progress meticulously and reporting the outcomes of each treatment to the supervising physical therapist.
• Collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience is required.
• A valid Texas occupational therapy license or a compact license is required.

This position does not require weekend or on-call duties, allowing for a more predictable work-life balance.
