Laboratory Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures for blood collection.
• Execute arterial blood gas draws as required.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and other documentation.
• Participate in quality control and assurance processes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Current ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
• Demonstrated skills in general laboratory procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to participate in shared on-call duties, including weekends.

Schedule

This position involves working four 10-hour shifts with shared on-call responsibilities, generally requiring one weekend per month.
