Shift Information

This position is for the night shift, from 1900 to 0730.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Medical Surgical Orthopedic Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the orthopedic and medical-surgical unit.
• Effectively communicate with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
• Float to other medical-surgical departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is preferred.
• Availability to work every other weekend and provide holiday coverage as needed.
