Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a dynamic clinical environment. This position requires a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and progressive care units (PCU), with the capability to manage occasional ICU patients. The role includes a commitment to weekend rotations and holiday coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical and progressive care units.
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Shift Details

This position involves night shifts working 4×12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00. Candidates willing to work additional weekend shifts may be considered for a 4×12 schedule with more flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgical and progressive care units required.
• If a first-time traveler, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit is required.
• Current RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (must be AHA certified).
• Traveler candidates must successfully pass a telemetry exam prior to the start of the assignment.

This role may require standby call as needed. Candidates should be prepared to provide exceptional patient care within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
