Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role involves providing exemplary patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering quality medical attention to patients with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a PCU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting vital signs and medical histories accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and coordinate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain compliance with institutional protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Prior experience in a PCU or similar nursing environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including rotating nights and days.

Schedule & Coverage

This position requires a commitment to a rotating schedule of 3 shifts per week, consisting of 12-hour night and day shifts. Weekend coverage is expected every other week.

Patient Ratios

Registered Nurses will manage patient assignments with ratios ranging from 4:1 to 6:1, depending on unit needs and patient acuity.
