ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing intensive care to patients with critical health conditions. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in various specialized areas of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments, including ventilators, chest tubes, and intracranial pressure monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care strategies.
• Conduct lab interpretation and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions.
• Float between different units as required by patient care needs.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Day shift covering 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00).
• Weekly weekend shifts required (6 shifts to fulfill unit needs).

Professional Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Required experience includes ICU, cardiovascular surgery, trauma, and neurosurgery.
• Proficient in managing ventilators, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVL), and external ventricular drains (EVD).

• Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care.
• Total Staffed Beds: 379.
• Designated as a Level II Trauma Center.

• Dress Code: Solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel; print tops are not acceptable.
