Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Emergency Room settings to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a dynamic environment while upholding professional standards.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• Experience with IV Start, Triage, and Telemetry
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Locals will be considered with a rate difference

Job Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:3-5
• Total Visits per Day: 250
• Bed Count: 101
• Contract Length: Minimum of 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour Evening Shift (15:00 – 03:00)
• Floating Requirement: Flexibility required to float between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week period; potential for every other weekend
• Orientation: 24 hours

Patient Population

This unit serves as a regional referral and tertiary care center, accommodating a diverse patient population.

Attire

Scrubs required: Navy/White.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must successfully pass EKG Testing prior to starting in this specialty.
