Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to assist with ongoing needs within the Emergency Department, particularly focusing on ED boarding. This role involves providing essential nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• 3×12-hour shifts: Day/Night rotation or Straight Nights available
• 4 weeks each of Day and Night shifts
• Every other holiday and weekend required
• Orientation available on the weeks of 9/14 and 9/28

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the ED setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding their health issues and care plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
