Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Description

A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role requires providing support in delivering therapeutic interventions to patients under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.

Shift Information

This position is for day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans devised by the physical therapist.
• Educate patients on exercises and activities to expedite recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current state licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation practices and protocols.
