Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Possible floating to designated facilities as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of general emergency department experience
• Experience with adult and pediatric care, specifically in Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) management
• Proficient in using Epic electronic health record system
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – must be AHA certified
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Preferred Certifications

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Additional Information

Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered. Accommodation for block scheduling will be determined based on management approval and unit needs. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will be evaluated based on facility requirements.

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams as needed.
