Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering complex cardiopulmonary treatments and supporting patients of all ages in accordance with physician orders.

Shift Details

Applicants must be flexible with scheduling to accommodate 12-hour varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. A commitment to work during peak holiday periods is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer complex cardiopulmonary care treatments as per physician orders.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Cross-train in cardiac procedures such as EKGs, stress tests, Holter and event monitors, and EEGs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all clinical practices.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of current experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Ability to work with patients across all age groups.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Possession of a valid Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist License in good standing.
• Active RRT certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Additional Requirements

• All time-off requests must be communicated at the time of application, with a maximum of five days accepted.
• Travelers are required to have their own vehicle for the assignment.
• The applicant must not currently reside within 50 miles of the facility.
