Radiology Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technician to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, particularly in emergency department and operating room settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations with precision and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations regarding radiologic procedures.
• Maintain and operate mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care in acute clinical settings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting imaging procedures.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• Must possess a valid IEMA license with fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technician preferred.
• Experience in emergency departments (ED) and operating rooms (OR) is highly desirable.
• Current BCLS certification from AHA required.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• One year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.

Work Schedule

This position offers night shifts. Flexibility regarding work hours and the ability to work on weekends and holidays is appreciated.
