Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role involves providing high-quality respiratory care to newborns with various complex respiratory conditions.

Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour shifts, with potential for a 48-hour workweek (4 x 12-hour shifts).
• Rotating shifts based on staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for managing and providing respiratory care to critically ill infants.
• Administer therapies and closely monitor patients’ respiratory status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individual care plans.
• Educate and support families regarding respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Keep accurate records of patient data and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active RCP or RRT License.
• Experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is preferred.
