Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a floating position that encompasses various specialties. The role requires flexibility to float between multiple locations, including a requirement to float to two main campuses.

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend scheduling required
• Participation in holiday rotations based on departmental needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients across different specialties including Med Surg, CACU, TSU, AFLAC, and CIRU.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pediatric nursing.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Must possess a valid nursing license in the state of practice or hold a compact state license.

Health Requirements

• All candidates must provide proof of flu vaccination; no exemptions or declinations will be accepted.
• This is a nicotine-free work environment; candidates will be subject to drug screening.
