MRI Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. This position requires a Monday through Sunday schedule with 3 twelve-hour shifts during the night and one additional flexible shift. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced imaging techniques to produce diagnostic MRI scans while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and ensure quality images are produced for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a sterile, safe environment for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and ease any concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Keep accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• Must hold current ARRT(MR) certification or ARMRIT certification.
• Current BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of MRI experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Shift Information

This position includes three 12-hour overnight shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, along with a third flexible 12-hour shift, which may vary between the hours of 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM or 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM.
