Job Summary

The Surgical Tech OR is responsible for the care of patients in the operating room, ensuring safe and effective patient care. This role involves maintaining the work area and participating in 24-hour call coverage. The Surgical Tech will prepare, assemble, and maintain operating room instrumentation and equipment, as well as scrub for a variety of surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the operating room environment.
• Ensure safe and therapeutically effective patient care.
• Maintain a sterile and organized work area.
• Prepare and assemble operating room instruments and equipment.
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage as required.
• Scrub for a variety of surgical procedures.

Licensure/Certifications

• Washington State Surgical Tech license is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification is required upon hire.
