Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This position is focused on providing high-quality ultrasound services within the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will work overnight shifts, ensuring timely and accurate imaging for our patients.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
• Shift Time: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Unit Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will operate within a specialized radiology suite in the Emergency Department. This unit features one ultrasound room dedicated to serving patients in critical need of imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures on ER patients and inpatients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using the EPIC electronic medical records system.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Skill Sets Required: Competence in performing ultrasound procedures.
• Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 clinician to patient ratio.
