Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy

Job Description

This position involves the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of nursing care for patients, adhering to organizational policies and the standards of professional nursing practice. The Registered Nurse in Endoscopy is accountable for the quality of nursing services provided and utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to assess data, plan, provide, and evaluate care tailored to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of patients.
• Document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies.
• Utilize specialized nursing knowledge and skills in patient care.
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered under their direction.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. A guaranteed 40 hours per week is offered, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Endoscopy experience.
• Must obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered.
• COVID vaccination is required; declinations will not be accepted.
• Candidates must be willing to work the facility’s schedule; no scheduling restrictions.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Locals are also accepted.

Certification Requirements

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS
• ACLS (American Heart Association)

Licensure Requirements

Active registered nursing license in the state of Maryland is required at the time of submission.
