Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in a vibrant outpatient setting. This position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week and focuses on delivering exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapies and treatments under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Educate patients and families on therapy routines and exercises.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Massachusetts.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
