Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician for a 9-week assignment with an immediate start date. This position requires commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care through effective sterile processing practices.

Shift Information

• 5 x 8-hour shifts
• Shifts will run from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Rotating weekend call required

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of sterilization equipment.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in sterile processing is highly preferred.
• Understanding of infection control protocols and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
