Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide skilled therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. This role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at improving patient independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
• Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Document all services accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in alignment with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and engage with families.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD).
• Active state Occupational Therapy license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
