CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a commitment to excellence in patient care within a high-acuity environment, specifically focusing on cardiovascular surgical intensive care.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Must possess a valid permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in CVICU required.
• Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are mandatory.
• Travelers must be willing to work at least every other holiday.

Assessment Requirements

All travelers will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment during orientation. A satisfactory score on both assessments is required to continue in the role.
