Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an opportunity in the Emergency Room. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in emergency nursing, with a focus on adult patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize skills in IV start, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
• Manage patient care with appropriate nursing ratios: Non-Critical patients (3:1), Critical patients (2:1), and Medical boarders (5:1).
• Participate in trauma care for patients diagnosed with STEMI, stroke, and LEVEL 2 trauma.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Certifications required: TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, BLS, and PALS.
• Preferred certifications: ENPC and experience in trauma care.
• First-time travelers welcome.
• Locals accepted with a rate difference.

Scheduling and Shifts

• Night shift: 4×12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15.
• Every other weekend required.
• Operating without call requirements or float duties.

Orientation and Training

• Orientation period of 36 to 48 hours.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Scrubs and Attire

Navy blue scrubs will be required while on duty.
