Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in both the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and the IMC Thoracic unit. The ideal candidate will be flexible and prepared to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care and IMC Thoracic units.
• Monitor telemetry oncology and cardiac patients, as well as those in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown settings.
• Administer care to patients on ventilators and those who have undergone transplants.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Schedule

The position requires 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holidays required. Limited request time off (RTO) will be considered during the weeks of December 22 to January 5. Please note that requests off for December 24 and December 25 will not be approved.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required (AHA only).
• Previous telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience is essential.
• Experience with ventilators and transplant patients is required.
• Must successfully pass a telemetry competency test prior to starting.
