Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position is essential for providing comprehensive care to mothers and their newborns in a dynamic rural healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage labor patients effectively while also providing care for outpatient and OB triage patients as required.
• Work independently during shifts with only one L&D nurse scheduled, while collaborating with the charge nurse for support when necessary.
• Assist with postpartum and nursery care when patient volumes and staffing needs necessitate.
• Ensure adherence to AWHONN guidelines to the extent possible, given the rural healthcare conditions.

Work Schedule

• Weekends required: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
• No floating between units or block scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient needs efficiently.

• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space.
• Uniforms: Navy Blue for RNs; RRTs may wear any color; provided OR attire; street clothes for the facility.
