Physical Therapist Assistant

Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. Assist patients in restoring mobility, enhancing function, and meeting their treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to the physical therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist with patient education and the development of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising physical therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
