Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room practices, with a focus on Transplant, Cardiology, and Vascular procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in trauma care and be prepared to adapt to varying schedules, including overtime and weekend shifts based on unit needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team during procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments, monitoring patients’ conditions closely.
• Utilize the EPIC medication system for accurate medication management.
• Assist with the education and guidance of patients and their families regarding post-operative care.

Qualifications:

• Current South Carolina Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with the EPIC system.
• Experience in Transplant, Cardiology, and Vascular nursing.
• Proven experience in a Trauma Level 1 facility.
• Flexibility to accommodate varied schedules, including on-call duties and weekend shifts.
• This position is not open to first-time travelers.
