MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity for a dedicated MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential care in a fast-paced clinical setting. This position requires a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, ensuring patient safety and prompt intervention when necessary.
• Administer IV therapy and conduct phlebotomy as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to establish and implement patient care plans.
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.
• Participate in patient education and support efforts.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting is required.
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, genitourinary/renal care, and IV therapy/phlebotomy.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is necessary.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.

Schedule Requirements

• Night shift: 3 shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30).
• Every other weekend and holiday are required.

Additional Information

All employees are required to receive the annual Flu vaccine to maintain a safe healthcare environment.

Candidates must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam, achieving a minimum overall score of 80% and a perfect score on lethal rhythms.
