Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to manage patient care effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Med/Surg Tele environment.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule Details

• Shift: Night shifts, 3 x 12 hours per week (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM).
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• No on-call or float requirements.
