Medical Assistant (MA) – Float

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant (MA) with experience in a float role to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and administrative skills, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient intake, and handling medical documentation.
• Float between various departments and locations as required, ensuring seamless patient care across the organization.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies, ensuring that all are stocked and in proper working order.
• Assist with laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Provide education and instructions to patients regarding medications and health management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a dedication to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the needs of different departments.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Schedule

This position requires availability for shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend work is not required.
