Medical Assistant (MA)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a float capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and be comfortable providing support in various environments as needed.

Shift Details

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirements: None
• On Call Requirements: None

Key Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and clinical tasks.
• Float between different departments as required to ensure optimal patient support.
• Maintain clear and accurate medical records and documentation.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks and assist with diagnostic testing.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
• Ability to float between multiple locations as necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
