Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and neuro nursing, with a focus on providing quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in various settings with a primary focus on telemetry and neuro patients.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocol.
• Assist in training and mentoring of nursing staff and students as required.
• Float to similar units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Shift Details

This position is for day shifts, with a schedule of 36 hours across three 12-hour shifts weekly. The nurse will be expected to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• Previous nursing experience in telemetry and neuro nursing is essential.
• Experience with Meditech software preferred.
• Ability to pass a telemetry assessment on the first day of orientation.
