Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. The COTA will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy activities and goals.
• Effectively communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Possess an active state COTA license or demonstrate the ability to obtain one.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and patient care skills.
