Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg Oncology

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med-Surg Oncology to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess surgical experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Position Information

• Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 (3×12 hour shifts)
• Float Requirements: All inpatient areas

Unit Profile

• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Equipment Used: Wound Vacs, Prevena Vacs, Baxter IV Pumps
• EHR System: EPIC, with implementation scheduled
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Cancer, Diabetes Mellitus, Pneumonia, General Surgery

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a nursing role
• Required Certifications: BCLS or BLS
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Familiarity with Wound Vacs, Prevena Vacs, Baxter IV Pumps, and experience in Cancer care, Diabetes management, Pneumonia treatment, and General Surgery
• Personality Fit: Candidates must be flexible in scheduling and embrace a Relationship-Based Care approach to ensure exceptional patient care.
