Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, particularly within the interventional radiology specialty, and be committed to providing high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the interventional radiology unit.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and assess their clinical conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license.
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80%, including a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience is required.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel nursing assignment.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory for all employees.

Schedule

Shift is a 4×9.5 hour schedule, with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including 1 rotating day off during the week. The position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with call every 5th week.
