ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. This role requires a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on monitoring and managing patients’ conditions in the Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients’ conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-hospital care.
• Document all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical record.

Schedule and Availability:

• Shift: Nights, 3×12-Hour (18:45 – 07:15)
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• On Call: 2 shifts every 4 weeks

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Local candidates preferred; must reside within a 50-mile radius.
