Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for newborn patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts or consideration for a 48-hour/week schedule (4 x 12-hour shifts)
• Shifts: Rotating shift based on staffing needs

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care for neonates in a Level 3 NICU setting.
• Administer and manage respiratory therapies and related procedures.
• Monitor respiratory status and clinical outcomes of patients.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Educate parents and caregivers on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the applicable state.
