Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering holistic care to patients and their families during critical situations while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of nursing practice.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop nursing diagnoses to evaluate patient conditions.
• Establish clear nursing care objectives.
• Define and implement nursing interventions as appropriate.
• Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their loved ones.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Monitor changing conditions and patient needs, re-evaluating care objectives as necessary.

Shift Requirements

• 3 shifts of 12 hours each.
• Rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• On-call duties as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Room RN experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Active South Dakota or Compact Registered Nurse license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and TNCC.
• COVID-19 vaccination is highly preferred.
