Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00)
• On-Call Requirements: Yes

Position Overview

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients in emergency situations, and coordinating treatment in accordance with established protocols. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Holiday Requirements

The position requires the following holiday commitment:

• 1 Holiday with 2 on-call/additional shifts per 6 weeks, OR
• 2 Holidays with no on-call/additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• Must pass an arrhythmia and medication test on the first day of employment.

Patient Ratios

The standard patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.

Additional Information

This position is open to nurses located outside of the local radius of 75 miles. Pending licenses will be accepted, provided the nurse obtains the required licensure prior to starting the position.

All requests for time off (RTO) must be included in the initial application; additional requests after submission will not be accepted.

Please note that attendance and reliability are crucial, and missing more than two shifts during the 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may lead to a review of the contract.
