General Ultrasound Sonographer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Sonographer with recent hands-on Obstetrical (OB) ultrasound experience. In this role, you will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations and work collaboratively with a dynamic physician team to ensure exceptional patient care across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform 2nd- and 3rd-trimester OB ultrasound imaging, including fetal anatomy, growth, and biophysical profile examinations.
• Conduct general ultrasound examinations as required.
• Work closely with the healthcare team to provide superior care and maintain effective communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Current ARDMS certification required.
• Current RVT certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent OB ultrasound experience is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to perform fetal anatomy and growth studies independently.

Additional Information

This position offers day shifts with no on-call requirements. However, it is essential that candidates have reliable transportation, as the location is in a rural area approximately two hours from the nearest major airport, and public transport options are not available. Candidates will be responsible for securing their own housing before starting their assignment.
