Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in the operating room and related areas.

Job Overview

The OR RN will cover various responsibilities, including Pre-surgery/PACU, and must be available for day shifts, with start times ranging between 0545 and 0900. The typical shift length is 8 hours, and the RN will participate in a call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Operating Room, Pre-surgery, and PACU settings.
• Handle an average of 9 surgical cases per day across multiple specialties including General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology.
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled, with a commitment to reach the facility within 30 minutes for STAT cases.
• Engage in a one-week orientation specific to department requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in OR nursing.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience with surgical specialties mentioned is required.
• Ability to float between Pre-surgery, OR, and PACU.

Additional Information

This role includes variability in scheduling and requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays as part of the call rotation. Scrubs will be provided, and adherence to dress code is expected.
