ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong commitment to patient care and possess specialized skills in critical care nursing. This position is a night shift role, requiring candidates to work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status, ensuring timely intervention.
• Float to other units as needed, including Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health records systems.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in an ICU setting required.
• Experience in a Trauma Level I facility is preferred; candidates with Trauma Level II experience will be considered.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records is required.
• Current Massachusetts RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Additional Information:

• A telemetry assessment will be administered on the first day of employment and will be pass/fail. Failure to pass may result in assignment termination.
• Candidates must be separated from their current organization for at least 6 months to be eligible.
• This position is not open to local candidates.
