Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team for a 13-week contract. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN Circulator in surgery.

Contract Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call Requirement: Once per week and every fourth weekend (potential holidays)
• RTO: Minimal to no requests for time off
• Local candidates are welcome to apply at a lower rate

Key Responsibilities

• Function as a circulator in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and optimal care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate efficient and effective surgical procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families before, during, and after surgery.
• Monitor patient status and document necessary information accurately.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
